Service

Restaurant Cleaning Services in NYC

Front and back of house cleaning built around service hours and health inspection standards.

Restaurants are the hardest commercial spaces to keep clean and the most expensive to get wrong. Grease migrates, floors get slippery, and the areas an inspector looks at first are the ones a rushed close never reaches — under equipment, behind the line, the base of walls, the underside of shelving.

Likti cleans restaurants around service rather than during it. The work is split between what has to happen nightly and what belongs on a weekly or monthly rotation, so the deep work actually gets done instead of being permanently deferred.

What is included

A typical scope. Yours is agreed at the walkthrough and written down.

  • Dining room floors, tables, banquettes, service stations and entry glass
  • Restroom cleaning and sanitising on a defined frequency
  • Kitchen floors including under and behind equipment where it can be moved safely
  • Degreasing of walls, splashbacks, equipment exteriors and stainless surfaces
  • Prep surfaces, shelving and storage areas
  • Waste areas, bin stores and the routes between them
  • Dry and cold storage floors and shelving
  • Baseboards, corners and floor-wall junctions on rotation

Worth knowing

  • Kitchen work is scheduled after close or before prep so it does not interrupt service.
  • Hood and exhaust cleaning is a separate specialist service — see the hood and exhaust page.

How it works

From first enquiry to a clean that runs itself

Five steps. No surprises in the middle of them.
  1. Step 1: Tell us about the space

Send the basics through the quote form — business type, rough size, location, how often. Two minutes.

  2. Step 2: We walk the site

We visit at a time that suits you and walk every area you want covered. Scope gets decided here.

  3. Step 3: You get a written scope and price

A task list with a frequency against each item, and the price for it. Nothing hidden in the middle.

  4. Step 4: We agree access and scheduling

Keys, codes, lockbox or doorman arrangements confirmed in writing, along with our hours on site.

  5. Step 5: The work runs to the schedule

Cleaning runs to the agreed list. Detail work rotates. Any change to scope is raised with you first.

FAQ

Restaurant cleaning — common questions

If yours is not here, ask us on the quote form and we will answer it before you commit to anything.
How often should a NYC restaurant be deep cleaned?

High-contact and high-grease areas need nightly attention, but the deep work — under and behind equipment, degreasing walls and splashbacks, floor-wall junctions, storage areas — is usually on a weekly or monthly rotation depending on volume and menu. A high-turnover kitchen running fryers and a grill accumulates far faster than a cold-prep operation. We recommend a rotation based on what we see at the walkthrough and you decide.

Will cleaning interrupt service?

No. Kitchen and heavy floor work is scheduled after close or before prep. Front of house is handled in the same window. Nothing that requires moving equipment or wet floors happens while you are trading.

Do you clean before a health inspection?

We clean the areas inspections tend to focus on — under and behind equipment, floor-wall junctions, the base of walls, storage shelving, restrooms and waste areas. We can schedule a deep clean ahead of an expected inspection. We do not represent you to any inspector or guarantee a grade; what we can do is make sure the cleaning is not what costs you points.

Is hood and exhaust cleaning included?

No — extraction is a separate specialist service with its own scope and access requirements, and it is always quoted after a walkthrough. Restaurant cleaning covers the kitchen surfaces and structure; hood and duct work is booked alongside it.

Do you cover both front and back of house?

Yes, and we treat them as one job. Grease and foot traffic move through the whole building, so splitting the two between different providers is how dining-room light fittings and ceiling tiles end up filmed over while the kitchen looks fine.
